As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Ty is committed to helping business owners not just understand their numbers, but strengthen them.
Before founding Catalyze Accounting & Consulting, Ty worked at NEXCOM, where he uncovered and helped recover over $400,000 in vendor over-billings through meticulous contract and financial review. He also enhanced key operational workflows by identifying bottlenecks, reducing inefficiencies, and strengthening control processes that improved accuracy and saved time across departments.
Ty earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from Old Dominion University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. His blend of technical expertise and operational insight enables him to pinpoint high-risk areas, design stronger processes, and support clients in building stable, efficient, and scalable businesses.
